Alford "Al" Blaine Cooper, aged 79, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Born in Portland, Oregon, on June 30, 1946, Al was a dedicated family man and successful business man who managed multiple companies in leadership roles. Ultimately, he purchased his own business and it became the number one commercial drilling company in Arizona.
Al was an accomplished private pilot with a passion for flying. He was an avid sportsman who loved snow skiing, scuba diving, water skiing, and boating. He also served his country faithfully in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Cooper, son Alan Cooper, daughter Erin Lazenby (Darren), son Adam Cooper (Nikki Pezzopane), along with his cherished grandchildren, Cameron Fica and Nash Cooper. He also leaves behind his brother, Loren Cooper, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Al is preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Mildred Cooper as well as brother Michael Cooper and sister Alfreda "Dee" Cooper. A cryptside service will be held on Monday, May 4th at 11:30AM at Crestview Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
