Barry P. Perry

November 24, 1945 — June 1, 2026

Gallatin, Tennessee

Barry Perry, age 80, passed away on June 1, 2026, in Gallatin, TN.

Barry was born on November 24, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Harold L. Perry, Sr. and Avalea Pendleton Perry Bean. His brother, Harold "Leon" Perry, Jr., and step-father Ed Bean also precede him in death.

Barry is survived by loving wife Rebecca Perry, children Jennifer Karches (Chris), Katrina Hardin, and Ashley Clark (John), grandchildren Autumn, Harrison, Wesley, and Rhett, great-grandchildren Chloe, Isaac, and Milo, sister-in-law, Sheila Capley, niece Melissa Williamson (Jesse), beloved dog Ruby, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barry never met a stranger. He didn't have acquaintances-everyone he met quickly became a friend. He loved his family, cared deeply for his community, and brought joy wherever he went. Whether you knew him from Barry's A/C, Church, or the big blue truck with the Mack Truck bulldog on the hood in the neighborhood, Barry made an impression as a faithful Christian wearing and giving others "F.B.I" hats that say Firm Believer In Jesus.

Known for his fun-loving spirit, love for fishing and cooking (especially his sausage pinwheels for fellowship meals), and kind heart, Barry leaves behind countless memories and friendships that will be cherished for years to come.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, June 5th from 4pm - 8pm and and again on Saturday, June 6th from 11am until time of service. The service will begin at 1pm on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 with Dr. Travis Fleming officiating, with burial following at Crestview Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are John Clark, Jesse Williamson, Harrison Hardin, Wesley Hardin, Steve Perry, and Brent Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Thornton, Gerry Dickson, Charlie Givens, Mike McDonald, all the beloved friends at early breakfast at Mary's Place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude, Habitat for Humanity, or other charity of your choice.
