Belinda Sloan Johnson

Belinda Sloan Johnson, born on October 26, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a long time resident of Gallatin, TN, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025.

Belinda was preceded in death by her father, William Sloan, and mother, Helen Sloan, who undoubtedly provided her with strength and values throughout her life.

Belinda’s life was characterized by her deep love for her family. She is survived by her beloved daughters: Jennifer Myers (Christopher), Courtney Brooks (John), Jessica Johnson, and Crystal Shoemaker (Jesse). Her grandchildren: Cody Winstead (Mackenzie), Tylor Winstead (Sarah), Connor Winstead, Trystan Myers, Keylyn Myers, Steffen Brooks (Madison), Lauren Johnson (Will), Preston Brooks, Anderson Brooks, Londyn Brooks, Peyton Johnson, and Paisleigh Johnson. Additionally, she cherished the role of great-grandmother to Tylor Winstead Jr. and Aaliyah Winstead. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Howell (Lawrence), and her aunt, Earline Sloan.

A viewing for the family will take place at Anderson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2025, located at 202 East Main St, Gallatin, TN, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a graveside service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, situated at 420 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN, beginning at 11:00 AM with Christopher Myers officiating. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Belinda will be missed but live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
