Bettie Jean Hilton

Bettie Jean Hilton, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Lenoir City, Tennessee, at the age of 89.

Born on February 13, 1937, in Bethpage, Tennessee, to the late John and Clara Dyer, Bettie dedicated her life to the nurturing and care of her family, embodying the essence of a devoted homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Hilton, sisters Susie McWhirter, Mary Bates, Lou Cole, and brothers James Dyer, J.C. Dyer; and nephew, Wayne Dyer.

She is survived by her son Tim Hilton, daughter-in-law Karla Hilton, sister Dot Andrews, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will forever honor her memory and the love she so generously gave.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at Anderson Funeral Home from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.

A graveside service will then be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens on September 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
