Breda (McCabe) Malfesi

Breda Teresa Malfesi, formerly known as Breda McCabe, was born on February 17, 1952, in Ireland. She passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on March 18, 2024, at Sumner Station Camp ER in Gallatin, TN.

Ms. Breda led a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. She dedicated her career to education, teaching students at various levels in New York including elementary school, high school, and college. Her passion for nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on all those she taught.

Breda was the beloved daughter of the late James and Brigid McCabe. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Malfesi, who resides in Gallatin, TN. Breda is also survived by her two devoted children: Alison and her husband David Spinks, as well as Sharon Malfesi. Her grandchildren will always cherish the memories they shared with their adoring grandmother.

Family meant everything to Breda, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation to honor Breda's life is scheduled at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains, NY. Following the visitation, cremation will take place,  There will be no public services at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Breda Teresa Malfesi for the warmth and joy she brought into the lives of others. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
