In Loving Memory of Candelaria Herrera
Candelaria Herrera, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 83 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1940, in San Bartolo Augas Calientes, Totonicapan, Guatemala.
Candelaria dedicated her entire life to caring for her family as a devoted homemaker. She showered her children with love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Her warm smile, nurturing nature, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving sons, Narciso Sontay, Eduardo Sontay, Bernardo Sontay; daughters, Tomasa Herrera, Santa Sontay; twenty six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Siriaca Herrera, and Patricia Herrera. Candelaria's legacy lives on through her family, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
A public viewing to honor Candelaria's life will be held on August 27, 2023, starting at 1:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN. Family, friends, and members of the community are welcome to pay their respects and share their memories of Candelaria during this time.
Candelaria will be laid to rest in in San Bartolo Aguas Calientes, Totonicapan, Guatemala.
Candelaria Herrera was a pillar of love and strength, and her presence will be deeply missed. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to inspire and guide us. May she rest in eternal peace.
