Carolyn R. Partridge, age 92 of Gallatin, Tennessee, formerly of Penn Yan, New York, passed away on April 11, 2026. She shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with the late Spencer J. Partridge prior to his passing in 2010. Born August 23,1933 in Oakfield, New York, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Maude (Mortenson) Barr.

Carolyn and Spence enjoyed square dancing, going to antique car shows, camped many summers in the Adirondack Mountains, vacationed in Myrtle Beach, and spent several years of retirement in Crystal River, Florida before moving to Tennessee with their son and his family. She enjoyed painting, baking, going to yard sales and estate sales, crafting, watching Braves baseball games, and spending summers back home in Upstate New York visiting family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn is preceded in death by her son Phil Partridge, grandson Little Phil Partridge, siblings Phillip Barr, Jane Wetmore (Tommy), John Barr (Mary Ellen), Dolores Paddock (Ralph), Richard Barr (Joyce), Joann Martz (Charles), Dale Barr (Barb), Gary Barr, Keith Barr.

Surviving with loving memories are her daughter Penny Carlton, son Scott Partridge (Linda), sisters-in-law Dottie Barr and Sandy Barr, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and several friends. Carolyn wished to extend special recognition to Linda Partridge, Joy and Aaron Vanderhoff, and Laurie and Dave Rogers.

There will be a graveside service and celebration of life for family and friends on a later date. Burial will be in the Seamans Cemetery in Savona, New York.
