Donna Marie Horne

Donna Marie Horne, age 59 of Gallatin passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Hendersonville Medical Center.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, she was born to the late Lera and Annetta (Newsome) Sturgell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Sturgell.

Donna was very proud of being a licensed optician.  Her family was very important to her, especially the love she had for her sons.  She enjoyed movies, reading, and traveling in her spare time.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Horne; sons, Terry Horne, Austin Horne, and Phillip Horne; brother, Lera H. Sturgell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kevin Rector officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home, and on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene.
