Doris Ross

Doris Ross, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at The Capstone at Station Camp.

She was born in Shelter Island, New York, to the late Philip Johnston and Harriett Downs Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ross; and a son, Lanny Ross. Ms. Ross was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Hilary Ward of Gallatin; half-sister, Christine Johnston; and mother of her granddaughter, Barbara Ross.

A private graveside service and interment will be conducted from the Green River Cemetery in East Hampton, New York on Thursday, October 3, 2024 under the direction of the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton, New York.
