Elder Kenneth Woodall, age 85, of Gallatin passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.  Funeral Services for Elder Kenneth Woodall were conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Gallatin with Brother Ronnie Briley and Elder Brad Carver officiating.  Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Josh Woodall, Brandon Woodall, Hargis Wade, Adam Wade, Jason Woodall, Jeremy Wade, Jacob King, James Harvey and David Harvey will serve as Pallbearers.   He was born in Sumner County, TN on August 27, 1930, one of four children born to the late Roy and Pearl (Barber) Woodall.  He married the former Helen Marie Durham on December 2, 1952, who survives.  Elder Woodall had worked for the United States Post Office receiving recognition for 50 years service from the National Letter Carrier Association.  He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a third degree Mason and member of the Bethpage Masonic Lodge FA&M #521.

He began his service to the Lord at Buck Lodge Mission in Sumner County and served at numerous churches in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky for over 50 years.  He was ordained on October 30, 1966.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauren Renee Woodall, and great-great-granddaughter, Launa Michelle Beecham.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Susan Woodall, James Woodall, daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Richard Wade, Kathy and Ritchie Baker, all of Gallatin, Sarah and Phil Graves of Bowling Green, KY, grandchildren Hargis (Tina) Wade, Cyndi Wade King, Adam Wade, Josh and Drew Woodall, Brandon and Natalie Woodall, Jason and Maggie Woodall, Ella Marie and Blake Brush, Mary Starr and Dave Preston, Laura Francis and Clint French, Jessica Barrett, Chelsea Brinkley, great-grandchildren, Jeremy Wade, Becky Wade, Cody Wade, Jacob King, Kayelee King, Austin King, Jude Woodall,   Paxon Woodall, Isabella Woodall, Mason Champlin, Sadie Marie Brush, C. J. Jet, Lucy Preston, Charles French, Lillie French, Brianna Preston, Kayla Preston, Macie Dorris, Kennlee Dorris, brother, Talmadge Woodall of Gallatin, sisters, Ruth Briley of Portland, and Betty Harvey of Gallatin.
