Ernest Allen Duncan

Ernest Allen Duncan age 87 of Bethpage passed away Wednesday June 10, 2015.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 13^th from the Rock Bridge Missionary Church with Bro. Guthrie Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in Rock Bridge Cemetery with Ricky Rittenberry, Marty Byrne, Don Troutt, Josh Draper, Howard Thurman and Randall Templeton serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Friday June 12^th 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin and Saturday June 13^th 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. 

Ernest was born in Trousdale County, TN on March 22, 1928 son of the late Erby and Annie Sherron Duncan. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Helen Duncan Ford.

He is survived by two sisters, Agnes Franklin of Bethpage and Ruth Byrne and husband Herman of Sevierville, TN, brother-in-law, James “Bob” Ford of Gallatin and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Duncan was a Tool and Die Instructor at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Hartsville for 30 years.
