Frances M. Tripp

Frances M. Tripp, age 89 of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Gallatin Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Ontario, Canada, she was born to the late William and Minnie (Compton) Shephard.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Wilford Shephard, and Gordon Shephard.  She had been an Assistant in a District Attorney’s Office and was a homemaker later in life. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Tripp of Gallatin; daughters, Cynthia Smith (Robert) of Nashville, Lesli Ann Bean of Gallatin; grandchildren, Corey Richardson of Gallatin, Alex Smith (Rachel) of Nashville, Rachel Smith of Nashville, David Smith (Sierra) of Cookeville, James Smith of Nashville, and Sarah Smith of Nashville; great grandchild, Camber Richardson.

A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., at the Anderson Funeral Home, with Chaplain Claudia Buchanan officiating.
