Helen D. Woodall, age 85 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  A native of Davidson County, Tennessee, she was born to the late William Virgil Durham and Era Mai (Woodward) Durham.  Ms. Woodall was a nurse for most of her life and, was in the first class to complete the nursing school at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. 

 Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eld. William Kenneth Woodall; grandchild, Lauren Renee Woodall; great-great grandchild, Launa Michelle Beecham; brothers, Fred Durham, James Durham, Charles Durham; sisters, Ruth Guill, Virgie Weldon, Lois Gattis.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca Wade (Richard), Kenny Woodall (Susan), James Woodall, Kathy Baker, Sarah Graves (Phil); grandchildren, Hargis Wade (Tina), Cyndi Wade King, Adam Wade (Sarah), Josh Woodall (Drew), Brandon Woodall (Natalie), Jason Woodall (Maggie), Ella Marie Brush (Blake), Mary Star Preston (Dave), Laura Francis French (Clint), Jessica Barrett, Chelsea Brinkley; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Becky, Cody, Katherine Elizabeth, Nick, Jacob, Kayelee, Austin, Jude, Paxon, Isabella, Mason, Sadie Marie, C.J., Lucy, Charles, Lillie, Brionna, Kayla, Macie, Kennlee; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Briley, and Elder Brad Carver officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Austin King, Jacob King, Jeremy Wade, Jason Woodall, Josh Woodall, Brandon Woodall, James Woodall, and Cody Wade serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  On Friday, visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until time of the funeral service at the church.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Mission Fund, or the Friends of Bledsoe Creek State Park.  Donations to either charity can be done through the funeral home.
