Jane Ann Carter

Jane Ann Duke Carter, age 72, of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.  Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin with Brother Jerry Peace officiating. Interment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens with family serving as Pallbearers.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to service time.  Jane Ann Carter was born in Waterloo, Iowa on August 6, 1943, daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice (Hiedt) Duke.  She was a retired school teacher in Greenfield, Wisconsin and was a Christian woman.  She is survived by her sons, David (Gloria) Carter of Buona Pace, CA, Andy Carter of Gallatin, TN, sisters, Sally Kirk of Florida and half-sister, Gloria.  Online condolences may be submitted at andersonfuneralhome.org.  Arrangements by ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 East Main Street Gallatin, TN (615) 461-7777.
