Jewell Gore Worman

Jewell Gore Worman, age 87 of Hartsville, formerly of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.

A native of Simpson County, Kentucky, she was born to the late Luther and Mamie Sue (Bratton) Eldridge.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Gore, and Walter “Lucky” Worman; grandchildren, Craig Calvert. Davey Brown, Carolyn Wallace, Dicky Brown; sisters, Lois Farmer, Hassie Stinson, Sabra Hendricks, and Willie Mae Stewart.  Mrs. Worman was retired from Potter & Brumfield, with 30 years of service.

She is survived by her children, Michael Gore (Carol), Sandra Brown (David), Brenda Williams (Ronnie); brother, Luther “L.V.” Eldridge (Faye), Grandchildren, Darby Gore (Mandy), Pam Gore, Sandra Boone (Todd), Jimmy Brown (Kathy), Jana Hutcheson (Scott), Corey Calvert, Chuck Williams (Mendy); granddaughter-in-law, Becky Brown; 21 Great-Grandchildren, 16 Great-Great Grandchildren; and a special close friend, Betty Pulley.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Mathis officiating.   Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens with Chuck Williams, Corey Calvert, Jimmy Brown, Scott Hutcheson, Trenton Rhea, and Darby Gore serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. and will resume on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
