Johnie Louis Edwards

Johnie Louis Edwards, 68, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Westmoreland, TN.

Johnie was born on September 14, 1958 in Scottsville, KY, to the late Calvin and Margie Edwards who precede him in death.

He is survived by son Nicholas (Brittani) Edwards of Gallatin, daughter Emily (Jonathan) Rivers - of Gallatin, son Hunter Edwards of Hopkinsville, KY, and granddaughter Annabelle Edwards. Also surviving are brothers Kenny (Lisa) Edwards, David (Marlene) Edwards , and sister Susie Meeks; and several nieces and nephews.

Johnie lived a life marked by service, hard work, and devotion to family. He proudly served his country in the Kentucky Army National Guard, carrying that same sense of dedication into his work as a carpenter and into the life he built with those he loved most.

A veteran, a craftsman, and a family man-Johnie leaves behind a legacy shaped by the work of his hands, the strength of his character, and the love he gave his family.

A Celebration of Johnie's life will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin with Josh Browining officiating. Visitation with the family will also be held on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until service time.
