Jonathan David Pankratz (Jon Delano)

Jonathan David Pankratz (Jon Delano), age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home in Berry Hill, TN.

Jonathan is survived by his mother Elizabeth Pankratz, father Kenneth Pankratz, maternal grandmother Betty Garcia, paternal grandparents Paul and Nell Pankratz, brothers Kenneth J. Pankratz and Christopher Pankratz, beloved nieces Ivy and Taya Pankratz, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who all loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Emilio Garcia. Jonathan was born on October 16, 1989 in Pasadena, TX. He graduated from Gallatin High School in Gallatin, TN in 2007. He had many collegiate studies including marketing at Vanderbilt University. 

Jonathan had successful paint contracting and marketing businesses. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing guitar and piano, skateboarding, fishing, kayaking, and golfing. He was a talented artist and loved to draw and paint. Jon was very adventurous. He went skydiving in 2022. He was known for his ability to connect with people. It came so naturally to him. He was so easy to be around and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jonathan’s life on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 2:00 at Anderson Funeral Home, 202 E Main St, Gallatin, TN 37066. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service.  Flowers can be delivered to Anderson Funeral Home. Because of Jonathan’s love of animals, donations to honor his memory can also be made to Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance, 720 Blythe Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066.
