Josephine M. Messenger age 95 passed away Tuesday January 26, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Hendersonville.

Mrs. Messenger was born in Stewart, Arkansas, daughter of William and Eva Ann Meadows Threadgill.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Messenger.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Ann Morgan of Hendersonville, Carolyn Jo Poindexter and Gary William Messenger (Denise) all of Pomona ,C A, nine grandchildren, Bradley Morgan of Hendersonville, Craig Poindexter (Mei Lani) of Los Angeles, CA, Betheni Morgan of Hendersonville, Kris DeLao (Reyes) of Pomona, CA, Candice Poindexter of San Dimas, CA, Zane Messenger of Huntington Beach, CA, William Messenger also of Huntington Beach, CA, Robin Poindexter of Pomona, CA and Kathryn Messenger of Azusa, CA, twelve great grandchildren, Amanda Blevins (James),  Audrey Cline (Tony), and Mark Pena-Lora, all of Hendersonville, Dane Tiongson, Caelan Tiongson, Bryn DeLao, Brooke DeLao all of Pomona, CA, Chloe Morgan of Hendersonville, Conlan Poindexter of Los Angeles, CA, Jonah Gonzales of Pomona, CA, Mieko Poindexter of Los Angeles, CA, and Marlo Ponidexter of San Dimas, CA and three great- great grandchildren, Sophie, Carter and Annabelle all of Hendersonville.
