Joyce Gillihan, a beloved mother and cherished friend, left this world peacefully on December 15, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on October 13, 1942, in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late William and Julia (Burrus) Wallace. Joyce's vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Moss; and brother, William Wallace.
Joyce was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kellye Jones (Todd), and her son, James Michael Gillihan (Dana). Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Randi Gillihan, Emilye Wills (Zack), Brooklyn Scott (Cassie), Patrick Gillihan (Christa), Abbye Morales (Nando), and Kennedye Jones; and nine great- grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her joy and kindness in their hearts.
Joyce's life was a celebration of family, love, and resilience. She embraced every moment with laughter, stories, and sharing meals that brought everyone together. Her generous spirit and caring nature are a testament to the impact she had on those around her.
