Kathie Ann McNeese, a devoted soul who graced this world with her presence and warm heart was born in Nashville, a city that would witness the blossoming of her kind and welcoming spirit. Her journey on this earth reached its peaceful conclusion at her residence on May 19, 2024, in Hendersonville, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering resolve.
 
 Throughout her remarkable life, Kathie dedicated over 30 years to serving others in the realm of customer service at Kroger. Her tenure at the original Kroger store in Hendersonville reflected not only her professional commitment but also her innate ability to connect with people on a profound level. She tackled challenges with grace and empathy, always striving to ensure that every interaction was infused with care and understanding.
 
 Kathie's personality shone brightly in every aspect of her being. Known for her problem-solving skills and her genuine desire to help those around her, she made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her positive influence extended far beyond the realm of customer service – it resonated in the hearts of her family and friends, who cherished her presence dearly.
 
 She was preceded in death by her father, Odie James McNeese; and brother, Bryan McNeese.
 
 She is survived by her loving mother, Imogene McNeese, and loving sister, Vickie Green. Her nephews Larry (Angela) Hyde and Derek Taft (Stacey), great-nephews Braxton Brinkley-Hyde and Chase Hyde, great-niece Kaytleighn Clinard and Ellie Taft, great-great-nephew Dominik Bryan, devoted friend and caregiver, Donna Culp, all who will mourn her passing alongside countless others who were touched by her kindness.
 
 In addition to her human companions, Kathie leaves behind another significant member of her family – Tony McNeese, a beloved pet who brought immeasurable joy into her life.
 
 A visitation to honor Kathie's memory will take place at Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin on Wednesday, May 22nd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. These gatherings are an opportunity for all who knew Kathie to come together and celebrate a life that radiated love and compassion.
 
 As we bid farewell to Kathie Ann McNeese in this physical realm, may we carry forward the kindness she so effortlessly shared with the world. Though she may no longer be by our side, her spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear.
 
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which can be done at the funeral home, or online at stjude.org.
