Leo became a Christian at the age of 63 and remained faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ until his passing. He enjoyed assisting in Disaster Relief with First Baptist Church Gallatin's team. He dedicated his professional life as a purchasing manager for Fleetwood Homes, where his engaging personality shone brightly. An extrovert at heart, he was known for being full of fun and effortlessly connecting with those around him. His warmth and kindness made him a beloved figure among friends and colleagues alike.
A devoted husband for 31 years to Margaret Lundberg, Leo cherished his family, including his children Kellie Taylor and Jacqueline Woods (deceased), and his adored grandchildren Whittney Woods, Taylor Woods, Hunter Taylor, and Skyler Taylor, alongside his great-grandson Evan Smith. Leo also shared a special bond with his sister, Patricia Clark.
Leo was a man of varied interests. He found joy in golfing alongside friends and colleagues, and his love for the outdoors extended to boating and riding his Harley trike. He was proud of his accomplishments, particularly his dedication to sports. Leo participated in marathons, logging over 28,000 miles of running and over 30,000 miles of cycling, demonstrating his commitment to remaining active and engaged throughout his life.
A visitation for Leo will take place on August 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church Gallatin, located at 205 E Main St, Gallatin, TN 37066. Following this, a funeral service will be held that same day at 3:00 PM at the same location, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance of a cherished individual who touched many lives.
