With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved son, Luke Van Angeal Precioso, on August 31, 2026, at just 17 years old.
Luke was born on November 17, 2008, in Manila, Philippines, and later made his home with us in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was our dearly loved son, a brother to Leia and Alexandra, and a friend to many. Seventeen years will never be enough, but every year we had with him is something we will always cherish.
Luke attended Station Camp High School, where JROTC held a special place in his heart. At home, he couldn’t stop talking about what he was learning and the things he got to do. He was so proud of it, and we could see how much it meant to him. He also worked as a crew member at McDonald’s, where he built friendships and became part of another community that knew and cared for him.
Since his passing, we have heard from so many people who knew Luke at school and at work. Their stories and messages have warmed our grieving hearts. As his parents, we knew how much he meant to us. Hearing what he meant to others has given us comfort in a way that is hard to put into words. We are learning about moments we weren’t there to see, friendships he built, and kindness people will remember. Our son’s presence made a difference, and we are so proud of him.
Luke is deeply loved and missed by us, his parents, Vohn and Nerissa; his sisters, Leia and Alexandra; his grandparents, Josefina and Alberto Yabora; and his aunts and uncles, Rebeccah, Luisa and Noli Roman, and Noel and Shasta Abrazaldo. He leaves behind family, friends, classmates, and coworkers who will carry their own memories of him.
We invite everyone who knew and loved Luke to join us in remembering his life.
