Robert Clayton McMurtry

Robert McMurtry age 50 of Nashville formerly of Gallatin, passed away Thursday April 2^nd at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral Service will be Saturday April 4^th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with Ingrid McIntyre and Bishop Isaac Williams officiating. Visitation will be Friday April 3^rd  4:00-8:00 PM ^d and Saturday 9:00 AM until time of service.

Robert was born in Sumner County on February 26, 1965.  He is preceded in death by his mother Robbie Martin Wix and brother Tommy McMurtry.

He is survived by seven brothers and sisters, June Twisdale (Mike) of McEwen, Tony McMurtry, of Toledo, OH, Lydia Atmore of, Portland, Steve “Bo” Wix (Tina) of Columbia, Joe David Wix (Tonya) of Hendersonville, Johnnie Miles (Dino) of Cottontown and Jessica McCart (Billy) of Gallatin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
