Ron Johnson

Ron Johnson, age 60 of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday morning, November 26th at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Johnson was a line foreman for the Gallatin Department of Electric for 35 years.  He was a member of the Tennessee Sheep Producers and the Montadale Sheep Association for over 28 years. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Aubrey Johnson, and his grandfather, Allie Johnson.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Riva Hitt Johnson of Gallatin; daughter, Jenna Poe and her husband Stanley Poe II of Franklin, Indiana; mother, Dorothy Johnson of Lexington, TN; grandmother, Mable Johnson Luna of Pulaski, TN; brothers, Arnold Johnson of Pensacola, FL, Carl Johnson of Lexington, TN; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Gallatin Electric Department Family. 

A Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, November 27th at 7:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. His family from the Gallatin Electric Department will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home.
