Sara Phillips Stinson

Sara Phillips Stinson, age 78 of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. A native of Luxomni, GA, Sara was born to the late Lamar and Minnie Johnson Phillips on July 25, 1939.
She was a member of Luxomni Baptist Church and attended Bethesda High School and was an active member in the communities in which she lived most of her life. She had a huge heart and loved to help people.
Family and friends were Sara's passion and delight. She lived all over the United States and never met someone she didn't know. 
She is survived by her husband, Alan Stinson, her son Scott Stinson, and her brother Steve Phillips. Sara had two grand kids, Tavie and Alexander Stinson. She is also survived by her step-son Chuck Stinson, his wife Regina and their daughters, Claire, Emily and Molly. She treated her grand kids and step-grand kids all equally with love. Sara also had had many cousins and nieces and nephews that she loved so very dearly. 
Sara's family is holding a graveside service for her on Monday August 28, 2017 at 4pm. The services will be at Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn, GA.
