Shane Rittenberry

Robert Shane Rittenberry age 44 of Hartsville formerly of Gallatin passed away Sunday July 12, 2015 at the Trousdale Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Thelma Rittenberry; maternal grandparents,  A.W. and Iola Cross.

Shane was born in Sumner County, October 3, 1970.  He is survived by his father, Robert Rittenberry of Hartsville; mother, Linda Cross Rittenberry of Gallatin; sister, Sherri (Andy) Birdwell  of Gallatin; paternal grandfather, John Rittenberry of Gallatin; aunts, Linda Hensley, and Phyllis Wooten (John) all of Gallatin; uncle, Clay Rittenberry (Cheryl) of Gallatin; niece, Tierra Birdwell (Todd Teets) of Gallatin; great nephews, Kyron, Kobey, Preston; and great niece, Marissa.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until time of service.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
