Vince Marquez, a loving brother, husband, father, uncle, papi, a loyal friend, and devoted dog dad, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born on October 5, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, Vince led a life marked by dedication to service.

Vince proudly served a twenty-one-year distinguished career for the City of Gallatin as a Master Patrol Officer (MPO) with the Gallatin Police Department, where he was deeply involved in several key areas including the Emergency Response Team and the Bike Patrol Unit. Beyond his professional life, Vince was an avid hunter and fisherman who found immense joy in the outdoors which led him to create Muddy Bayou Archery. As the owner and head coach, he dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring young archers. These students have gone on to win many awards in archery at the state, regional, and national levels. He was a steadfast presence in the lives of those around him, cherished for his unwavering positivity and laughter that could light up any room.

Vince was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Marquez; his mother, Juanita Archuletta; and his brothers, Ron Montour, Anthony Mestas; his sisters, Valerie Escobido, Catherine Miller. Each of these losses left a mark on his life and made his connection with his surviving family, friends, and community all the more significant.
