William Terry Chandler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Terry Chandler, who left us on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 63. Terry was born on October 31, 1962, in Portland, TN, where he lived out his life surrounded by the people and the community that he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Chandler, and his son, Terry Chandler. Terry also leaves behind his sisters, Evelyn, Nettie, and Geneva, as well as his brothers, Harold, Roger, Charlie, and Richard. The warmth of his kindness and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Coy and Evelyn Chandler; and his siblings, Bertie Stewart, Coy Chandler, Kenneth Chandler, Paul Chandler, Jimmy Chandler.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, where friends and family can gather to share memories and celebrate Terry's life. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 PM, honoring a man who made a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Following the service, Terry will be laid to rest in an entombment at Sumner Memorial Gardens.

Terry was known for his hard work as a factory worker in the warehouse industry. Although he is no longer with us, Terry's spirit will live on in our hearts. He will be remembered for his unwavering love, and the joy he brought to those around him.
