Agnes Duncan Franklin, age 94 of Bethpage, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the NHC Place, Sumner.  A native of Trousdale County, she was born to the late Erby Duncan and Annie Sherron Duncan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin; brother, Ernest Duncan; sister, Helen Ford. Mrs. Franklin had retired from the Sumner County Court System, where she had worked for over 25 years, and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Byrne of Sevierville; brother-in-law, Bob Ford of Gallatin; nieces, Yvonne Beyer, Gail Byrne, and Ruth Ford; nephews, Marty Byrne, and Ralph Ford. Funeral Service for Agnes Duncan Franklin will be conducted on Monday, May 3 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with James Crabtree officiating.  Interment will follow in the Crestview Memory Gardens with Marty Byrne, Ralph Ford, Josh Draper, Howard Dean Thurman, Jim Lindsey, and Ron Brawner serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to a charity or church of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Anderson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Gallatin.
